Just back from filming Country House Rescue midterms. Highlight of my year interviewing Jean Shrimpton, a veritable 60s goddess and so nice.

Playing with my new iPad and loving it as much as I do Sue Sylvester. Keyboard far better than I expected – can do proper touch typing.

Only going 12 miles for a hols (Aldeburgh) proved a brilliant idea. Loads of good walks (very happy dogs), food, ice cream and reading. Fab.

Sorry, this is just stupid, over-sensitive and rhetorical. All that matters is we’re running at over 90% occ. with mostly very happy guests.

Fine, but why tell a receptionist you’ve had a fab stay and then grouse on TripAd? So bloody English, and I do mean English, not British.

Why do guests (even those who profess to like the C&C) post adverse comments on TripAdvisor rather than tell us at the time? So baffling.
